Lukoil unit challenges antitrust’s decision in Varandei case
MOSCOW, Apr 15 (PRIME) -- The Moscow Arbitration Court has scheduled hearings on Russian oil major Lukoil’s unit Varandei Terminal’s April 9 suit against a Federal Antimonopoly Service’s decision on oil transshipment for May 30, as seen by PRIME in the court’s materials on Monday.
The service launched a case against Varandei Terminal in December 2018 following a complaint from oil major Rosneft’s subsidiaries Bashneft and Bashneft-Polyus about oil transshipment prices. On March 15, the service qualified actions of the subsidiary of Lukoil as abuse of its dominant position in the port of Varandei and violation of the competition protection law.
